HUD Youth Program

Stable housing is the foundation for stability, dignity, and opportunity.

At Of Color, Inc., we believe safe and affordable housing is a basic human right. Our STRIVE2 program supports individuals, young adults, and families experiencing housing instability. HUD-funded, our program is designed to help young people break the cycle of homelessness early by connecting them to resources such as safe housing, supportive services, health-related referrals, employment resources, and long-term stability planning.

About this Program

We know that every household’s journey is different. That is why we do not use a one-size-fits-all model. Instead, we build trust, listen first, and work with each participant to identify their strengths, challenges, and goals.

Our Housing Case Managers provide flexible, respectful, and practical support. We advocate for our participants rights, helping them to navigate and understand their lease expectations, to support positive housing outcomes.

Services may include:

  • Housing Navigation and Case Management

  • Connections to Health and Supportive Services

  • Life Skills and Goal Planning

  • Employment and Education referral

  • Tenant Rights Education and Effective

  • Communication support
